We took my daughter's car to Janzen for repairs. It died while she was driving. They first replaced the starter, then the flywheel, then the timing belt (the only thing that actually made sense) and then the water pump. The car had never over heated, leaked any fluid, or had the check engine light on. They kept the car for over a month and charged $1923 for the repairs. When we finally were able to pick the car up, the check engine light came on while driving home. We were told to bring it back. The next day they said it was minor, but they had to order the part. Over the next few days, the car was not driving well, the idle was very high and we discovered it was leaking some fluid. I called Janzen and let them know about the leak and the issues with the idle. I took it to another mechanic who stated there was a valve installed improperly causing the idle problem. They repositioned it and that problem was fixed. They couldn't find the leak and put dye in the engine to watch for an oil leak. A few more days goes by and the car dies and will not start. It was completely out of transmission fluid. The mechanic said he put five quarts of transmission fluid in it and it just ran back out. He quoted $600 to take out the transmission and fix the leak. This car was not taken to Janzen for transmission issues and had never leaked before. We had it towed and now it is collecting dust. They will not do anything to assist us. Basically they said since we drove it off the lot, it's our problem. The manager said all the "good" mechanics went to make more money in the oilfield. I would not take anything to Janzen. Poor customer service and mechanics don't know what they are doing. I had to buy my daughter a new car. I certainly didn't buy it from them.

2009 Chevy Aveo problems ignored by Chevy and there Dealers
Bought a new 2009 Chevy Aveo, (this was my second 09 Aveo, Totaled the first one. Was very happy with my first one). This car gave me half the fuel mileage that my first Aveo got. Chevy dealer checked it and said there is nothing wrong "some times you get a good one and sometimes you get a bad one" they said. Then at 18000km (11000miles) I had to replace one front tire because the outside of the tire was bald, inside was like new. Dealer said it was an alignment issue, But when the dealer did the alignment it showed there was nothing wrong and the alignment was perfect! The car already has negative camber But they changed the drivers front and gave it More negative camber (other than having feathering the Drivers front tire was wearing even, My complaint was with the passenger front tire not the drivers) At this point I realized that both front tires were feathering and needed to be replaced. Also noticed that the rear passenger tire was cupping and also needed to be replaced. The dealer said there was nothing wrong and this was all normal! The alignment technician even told me I was an "*** for expecting tires to last longer than 18000km (11000miles)" I complained to the dealers management and to GM's customer service to file a complaint. They both told me that they took that very seriously! but never even got as much as a sorry from anyone! I took my car to the dealer 25 times to have them check it, I also called GM's customer complaint department every day for 6 months! They did Nothing! They dont care! So If you get a bad GM vehicle that they cant fix (they didnt even try) Your on your own! GM does NOT care about you! My car has had 8 4-wheel alignments by 4 different shops. the Chevy dealer has done it 4 times, they say theres nothing wrong. I have replaced tires for the third time in 52000km (32000miles).
